Attention: All Providers Update on NCTracks Provider Training Available in January 2017
In place of the previously announced course, Dental, Optical, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Physician Fluoride Varnish and Orthotic and Prosthetic (O&P) Prior Approval Service Inquiry, registration is now open for individual instructor-led training courses for providers that will be held in January 2017.
Following are details on the courses, their dates and times and instructions for how to enroll:
Submitting An Optical (Eyeglass and Refraction) Service Inquiry (Webex)
- Monday, January 23 – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This course will guide authorized users through the process of submitting service inquiries for Eyeglasses and Refraction service history using the NCTracks Provider Portal.
At the end of this training the user will be able to:
- Submit an Eyeglass Confirmation service request
- Submit a Refraction Confirmation service request
Submitting A Dental Benefit Limitation Service Inquiry (Webex)
- Wednesday, January 25, 2017 - 9:30am to 10:30am
This course will guide authorized users through the process of submitting service inquiries for Dental Benefit Limitation service history using the NCTracks Provider Portal.
At the end of this training the user will be able to:
- Submit a Dental Benefit Limitation service request
Submitting A Physician Fluoride Varnish Service Inquiry (Webex)
- Friday, January 27, 2017 - 1:30pm to 2:30 pm
This course will guide authorized users through the process of submitting service inquiries for Physician Fluoride Varnish service history using the NCTracks Provider Portal.
At the end of this training the user will be able to:
- Submit a Physician Fluoride Varnish Limitation service request
Submitting A Durable Medical Equipment (DME)/ Orthotics and Prosthetics Service History Inquiry (Webex)
- Tuesday, January 31, 2017 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
This course will guide authorized users through the process of submitting service inquiries for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Orthotics and Prosthetics service history using the NCTracks Provider Portal.
At the end of this training the user will be able to:
- Submit a DME/O&P Service History request.
All of these courses are taught via WebEx and can be attended remotely from any location with a telephone, computer and internet connection. The WebEx will be limited to 115 participants.
Training Enrollment Instructions
Providers can register for these courses in SkillPort, the NCTracks Learning Management System. Logon to the secure NCTracks Provider Portal and click Provider Training to access SkillPort. Open the folder labeled Provider Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT). The courses can be found in the sub-folder labeled ILTs: Remote via WebEx.
Refer to the Provider Training page of the public Provider Portal for specific instructions on how to use SkillPort. The Provider Training page also includes a quick reference regarding Java, which is required for the use of SkillPort.
