Change in ACA Enhanced Rate Payments for SCHIP / Health Choice

It has been determined that Affordable Care Act (ACA) Enhanced rate payments are not eligible for SCHIP / Health Choice recipients. A system change has been implemented to eliminate any future ACA Enhanced rate payments for SCHIP / Health Choice recipients. Prior ACA Enhanced rate payments already made to providers for SCHIP / Health Choice recipients will be recouped at a future date. Providers will be notified in advance prior to the recoupment. DMA is working with CSC to continue the review of ACA Enhanced rate payments to ensure compliance with the final rule.
