Attention: Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Providers Special Bulletin on Reprocessing of ASC Claims for Non-Covered Services

The N.C. Division of Medical Assistance has released a Special Medicaid Bulletin, NCTracks Updates Reprocessing of Claims For Non-Covered Services. The bulletin discusses ambulatory surgical procedures which were determined not to be separately reimbursable in accordance with CMS 2016 Final Rule on ASC Reimbursement. This situation resulted in overpayment to providers.
