2017 ACA Application Fee for Institutional Providers
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced an increase in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) provider enrollment application fee. The application fee for calendar year 2017 has increased to $560.00 for applications received on and after January 1, 2017 and on or before December 31, 2017. This fee is required for any institutional providers that are newly enrolling, re-enrolling, recredentialing, or adding a new practice location.
Invoicing of the fee occurs after the enrollment application is submitted. Providers are requested to wait for their invoice before submitting payment.
