Issue - Subsequent PA Requests Voided if Previously Denied
Subsequent prior approval (PA) requests are being automatically voided by the system as a duplicate if there is a previous denial for the same services.
This issue is currently being reviewed by the technical team. Providers are asked when submitting a duplicate prior approval request for reconsideration after a previous denial to please indicate on the new submission that this new request is for reconsideration. If the new prior approval request is voided as a duplicate at that time, please contact the CSC Call Center and ask to have a ticket created, asking that the prior approval request that has been voided be reviewed. Please provide the type of prior approval request and the prior approval number so that information can be included in the ticket.
