Congress Votes to Delay ICD-10 Implementation
Yesterday, the United States Senate joined the House of Representatives in voting to delay the implementation of ICD-10 until at least October 1, 2015. The bill has gone to the President for his signature. We are continuing to monitor the situation and awaiting feedback from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We will provide more information as soon as it is available. In the meantime, providers are encouraged to continue preparations for the ultimate implementation of ICD-10.
