Provider Help Center Coming to Raleigh October 29
The NCTracks team is offering an in-person Provider Help Center on October 29 in Raleigh. NCTracks staff from Provider Enrollment, Provider Relations, Claims, and Prior Approval will be available to assist registered NC providers with questions or concerns regarding NCTracks.
The Provider Help Center will be held on Wednesday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at CSC, 2610 Wycliff Road, Raleigh, NC, 27607.
For providers to get the most out of these sessions, please bring specific examples of issues. The more details that can be provided about the problem, such as screen shots, NPI numbers, TCNs (claim numbers), denial codes, etc., the more help the NCTracks team will be able to provide.
Based on lessons learned from past Provider Help Centers, the process has been modified to give the greatest benefit to the most providers. Providers will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis, but registration for either the morning or afternoon session is required and limited to 45 providers per session.
Providers must register for the Provider Help Center in SkillPort, the NCTracks Learning Management System. Logon to the secure NCTracks Provider Portal and click the “Provider Training button to access SkillPort. Open the folder labeled Provider Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT). The Provider Help Center sessions can be found in the sub-folder labeled ILTs: On-site. Refer to the Provider Training page of the public Provider Portal (see link below) for specific instructions on how to use SkillPort.
A few other considerations regarding the Provider Help Center:
• Each provider will be limited to a maximum of one (1) hour, so bring your most pressing issue. There is likely to be a waiting period, so don't forget that you can also request a site visit using the Contact Us page on the Provider Portal (see link below), if you prefer not to travel to Raleigh.
• There is ample parking, but please park in the unmarked spaces only. Cars parked in violation are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
• There is a small cafeteria on site that serves coffee, breakfast and lunch.
• Additionally, there will be a workshop on current NC Tracks issues, common errors, and upcoming changes conducted at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, and 3 p.m., so providers can also enhance their learning while they wait. Space is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.
