A Message from NCTracks on Behalf of NC Medicaid HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program Portal

Good afternoon:

The federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) yesterday launched the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) COVID-19 Uninsured Program Portal at coviduninsuredclaim.linkhealth.com.   Health care providers and hospitals can use the portal to electronically request reimbursement for claims associated with COVID-19 testing and treatment of uninsured patients retroactive to Feb. 4, 2020. These relief funds are provided as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).

Providers must register to use the portal. Reimbursements can be requested using the portal beginning May 6, 2020. HRSA is offering a webcast on the COVID-19 Uninsured Program and how to use the portal on Thursday, April 30, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern time.
