Outpatient Claim Denial Issue Resolved

Some outpatient claims billed for services unrelated to specialized therapy have been denying with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) 57760 - CLAIM DENIED. DUPLICATE OUTPATIENT SPECIALIZED THERAPY SERVICES FOR DOS. The issue began on April 2, 2017. Any outpatient and hospice claim that was submitted on or after this date was affected, as well as outpatient or hospice claims that had pended and recycled.

This issue was resolved on April 15. Affected providers may now resubmit any denied claims.
