Attention: Personal Care Services (PCS) Providers Special Medicaid Bulletin - PCS Program Updates

The N.C. Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) has published Special Medicaid Bulletin, (PCS) Program Updates - Effective July 1, 2016. The bulletin provides information about amendments to Clinical Coverage Policy 3L, Personal Care Services, including an additional program requirement and a change in the PCS eligibility criteria regarding the eating Activity of Daily Living (ADL) agreed upon in the settlement of federal class action lawsuit Pettigrew v. Brajer.
