Chrome Browser Support for Electronic Document Viewer

Google has announced that effective September 1, 2015, the Chrome web browser will no longer support Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI) based plugins. This change will prevent Chrome from displaying the Electronic Document Viewer, which is used by a few NCTracks providers who have a very large Remittance Advice (RA), as well as hospital providers who view their Provider Statistical and Reimbursement (PS&R) reports online.

While NCTracks investigates the implications of this change, providers who use the Electronic Document Viewer are encouraged to use a different browser if you encounter any difficulties with Chrome. Other supported browsers include Firefox and Internet Explorer. More information will be posted when it is available.
