Latest Medicaid Pharmacy Newsletter Available

The latest Medicaid Pharmacy Newsletter, dated June 2015, is now available on the N.C. Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) website. In addition to updates to the Federal Upper Limit Reimbursement List, this edition of the newsletter includes articles about “Meets PA Criteria� use when a Prior Authorization is required, Copays and Pregnant Women with Medicaid, Proper DAW use with Narrow Therapeutic Index Drugs, and Coverage of Prescription Vitamins and Mineral Products for N.C. Medicaid Recipients. Providers are encouraged to review this important information.
