Attention: Dental Providers Dental Benefit Limitation Inquiry Issues Resolved
As of November 19, 2017, two issues related to dental benefit limitation inquiries on the secure NCTracks provider portal have been resolved:
- Dental benefit limitation inquiries on the portal did not display the entire related claims history for the recipient. For example, the inquiry results included the details for full mouth debridement (procedure code D4355), but the results did not include periodontal scaling and root planing, per quadrant (procedure codes D4341 and D4342.) This issue was resolved on October 22, 2017.
- “No history provided” message displayed in response to dental benefit limitation inquiries. For example, providers who previously viewed sealant and extraction history found that when they attempted to re-verify the information, they received an error message. This issue was resolved on November 19, 2017.
Providers who experienced either of these issues will now be able to perform complete patient history inquiries using the Dental Benefit Limitation screen in the portal.
